On August 17th, 2017, I was life-flighted to UPMC, Altoona. The care I received there and at other facilities since has been exceptional and I have absolutely no complaints.

My complaint is that when I was taken from the helicopter into the initial trauma room, a number of personal possessions were removed from me and I never had them returned. The items totaled close to $400. My wife contacted the customer relations while I was still in the hospital. Nothing was found.

On a follow-up visit we contacted them personally again. They had no evidence of any of my belongings.

I have contacted them by email twice and by leaving a phone message once and have not had any of those communications returned or even acknowledged. I am frustrated and am not sure where to turn for assistance.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
